I am going to ride the 13-0 Colts all day long when they are favored by 3 vs a team that isn't accustomed to pressure games. I think the Colts loose play will be better off than the Jags aggressive play. Jacksonville has more pressure on them and that is a recipe for turnovers. Besides, what has Jacksonville proved this year? Nothing. Taking Indianapolis -3 (-125).

Sunday Gravy Plays for Dec 13th

San Diego Chargers vs Dallas Cowboys OVER 48.5 -105. Two high flying offenses meet in Dallas and look to entertain with all the offensive talent on the field. San Diego has been on fire offensively with a 35 pt average their last 3 but the defense has given up points and yardage to some of the weaker teams in the league and will have trouble with the Cowboys at home where they seem to thrive more on offense. The Cowboys will need to click on offense regularly here in what looks to be a shootout as their defense is prone to the big play and this secondary is not a strong one. Rivers and company on offense for San Diego should move the ball at will through the air which could open up some play making opportunities for Sproles and Tomlinson on the ground or out of the backfield. As well, the Cowboys should get their licks in on the ground against this rush defense that allows 117 plus yards a game and that should open up things for Romo in the passing game who had 3 tds and over 300 yards last week. Offense rules in this game and not a lot of stops in the offing here by two defenses who have glaring weaknesses This game goes over 48.5 points.

Weekend Plays December 5th-6th

Saturday: Vancouver Canucks (-155) at Carolina Hurricanes. The Canucks are coming off of a superlative effort in Philly with a 3-0 shutout and are feeling strong right now with back to back wins on the road against two quality opponents. They have to keep it rolling as they are in a fight with Calgary after a slow start to the season and will keep their eye on the puck so to speak. Now healthy and with strong defensive play, this team won't overlook a reeling Carolina squad. Play on Vancouver.

Sunday: New England Patriots -4.5 -105 at Miami Dolphins.I can't resist this short number on a superior team at a time when the good teams separate from the not-so good teams in December in the NFL. Patriots coming off a loss are hungry to re-establish themselves and can do just that against a team that hasn't played all that well their past 3 despite much easier opposition than the Patriots have had. Home field is in play, but over-riding that fact is New England rebounding and matching up well vs this Dolphins' team. We will lay the field goal here and invest in a New England win.
